Dear Middle School Families,
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer! As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am honored to serve as the new Principal of Northeastern Clinton Middle School. Having worked in our middle school for 13 years—first as a school counselor and most recently as assistant principal—I feel incredibly fortunate to continue serving the students, families, and staff of this outstanding school community.
As we begin a new school year together, I look forward to partnering with you to ensure every student has a successful, engaging, and positive middle school experience. To help our newest students get off to a great start, we are excited to welcome incoming 6th-grade students and their families to 6th Grade Orientation on Thursday, August 27, at 6:00 p.m. The evening will begin in the Francis "Bud" Moore Auditorium, located next to the High School Gym.
Following a brief presentation, students will receive their class schedules and locker combinations before heading to the middle school to practice opening their lockers, locate their classrooms, and become familiar with the building before the first day of school on Wednesday, September 2. Middle school counselors, 6th grade teachers, and administrators will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and assist families.
We look forward to seeing you on August 27 and welcoming our newest students to the Northeastern Clinton Middle School community. If you have any questions prior to orientation, please feel free to contact the Middle School office.
Sincerely,
Jamie M. Maggy
Middle School Principal
