Mr. Bush

Hello! My name is Wade Bush, and I am starting my third year as the principal at Mooers Elementary.  Wow, the time has flown by! This is truly a great place to be each and every day.  Students come here each day with an eagerness to learn and create new or deepen friendships with neighbors and community members that they will share a good portion of their lives with.

Six years ago, I was given the opportunity to come back to the district where my fundamental education began,  when I became the Assistant Principal of the NCCS Middle School and High School.   Before coming back to the NCCS district, I was the Assistant Principal at Franklin Academy in Malone, NY.  Prior to being the Assistant Principal for two years, I taught Global Studies and US Participation in Government for nine years at Franklin Academy High School.

Mooers Elementary is a very special place that has excellent faculty and staff that are focused and exhilarated about having the privilege of teaching your child every day.  This school has a long history dating back to the construction of the building in 1938, to be a pillar of the community. Our community school has long valued education that provides relevancy and rigor in addition to creating citizens that are proud of their school and community.  I will do my best to uphold this level of education and continue to create a 21st-century learning environment where students are welcomed and challenged every day.
